A shooting occurred at a Katy-area barbershop yesterday, leaving one employee in critical condition. Authorities seek the public's help in catching the shooter.

Shots Fired over a Haircut

A shooting occurred at Magic's Kutts & Fades at 23945 Franz Road in Katy. Witnesses say the suspect shot an employee while arguing over a haircut given to the suspect’s son.

"The customer retrieved a pistol and shot the employee multiple times. The injured male is in serious condition," according to the Harris County County's Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

Suspect Description

The suspect is described as a black male. The suspect's vehicle may be a gray 4-door sedan, possibly a Honda Accord.
