A Katy chiropractor has been charged with sexual assault after reports claim he assaulted at least 12 victims and performed unlicensed procedures.

Â
At least 12 victims have claimed various complaints against suspect Joshua Aaron Gomez, 43, who was arrested on Wednesday according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. Gomez has been practicing at One Life Chiropractic in Katy off N. Fry Road that is owned by his brother.
Â
According to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Gomez lost his license in 2019 amid sexual misconduct allegations. His brother and One Life Chiropractic say they were unaware of this fact.
Â
While multiple victims have been identified, Gomez was discovered after a woman who had sought postpartum treatments contacted authorities with concerns after her pubic misalignment.
Â
After she says Gomez touched her inappropriately during her procedure with a Graston Tool, she complained to the clinic’s owner Gomez’s brother, who refunded her money. She also reached out to the Board that confirmed the previous complaints and lost license.
Â
The incident she’s accusing him of occurred in December 2023. Court records also show that Gomez was charged with sexual assault in McAllen in June. Harris County authorities are holding a press conference today with more information.
Â
Gomez is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
Â
Authorities believe more victims may exist and urge any to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at 713-221-6000.
