Katy families can soon enjoy Dig World, the first and only all-ages, construction-themed adventure park in Texas. The park is set to open later this fall adjacent to Katy Mills Mall.

Coming to Katy Mills Mall
Get ready Katy! Later this fall, both kids and adults will be able to safely operate real, heavy construction equipment year-round. Kids can operate machines themselves (depending on height) or with the help of a parent.
City of Katy Expresses Excitement
“it’s very exciting to see the official announcement of Dig World in Katy,” says Chris Harris, City of Katy Mayor Pro Tem. “This will be one-of-a-kind attraction in Texas and will be a destination for families to operate real construction equipment.”
The park will be located adjacent to Katy Mills Mall and will be a 3.5 acre site full of entertainment for all.
“At Katy Mills, we are committed to growing, evolving, and supporting what the community needs,” says Lisa Connolly, Katy Mills Director of Marketing and Business Development. “Dig World will surely enhance the family-friendly offerings of Katy Mills, providing a fun place for families to spend time together during their visit to the center.”

Dig World is expected to host over 100,000 people in its first year and will entertain them with a multitude of once-in-a-lifetime, hands-on experiences. These will include the opportunity to operate excavators, skid steers, UTVs, and much more.
Founded to Create Memorable Family Experiences
“We want to create memorable experiences for families that last a lifetime as well as educate the next generation about construction and all the possibilities that surround that industry," says Jacob Robinson, who founded Dig World along with Rick Bennett.
Dig World will be able to host field trips, community events, birthday parties, corporate outings, and much more. The site will also include a playground, a gem-mining station, a turf field with yard games, and other attractions.
Dig World has partnered with Mustang Cat to ensure the park’s top-of-the-line equipment.
“We look forward to partnering with Dig World as they showcase our heavy equipment in a hands-on experience for the entire family,” says Sam Tucker, President & COO of Mustang Cat.
Dig World is set to open later in the fall.
