Here comes Mardi Gras season! Grab your best purple, green and gold attire and check out these fun events happening in and around Katy! Laissez les bon temps rouler (let the good times roll)!


Fat Tuesday Parties

Fat Tuesday is February 25!


BB Tex-Orlean’s

406 West Grand Pkwy. South, Katy

4:15-8:15 p.m.


You are officially invited to the biggest “Fais Do-Do” BB’s throws every year! Enjoy life’s libations, temptations, and delicious BB’s creations before the Lenten season begins! Come dressed in purple, gold and green, or as you are – but come to have fun with the Krewe of BB’s.

Join Rouxpour for one of the best Fat Tuesday celebrations around! Indulge in specialty cocktails, wine and beer, and fresh crawfish! Celebrate with live music and face painting. Don't forget your beads and masks!

Come celebrate the beginning of Mardi Gras at No Label Brewery. Of course we will be out to celebrate with some goodies and raffle items too, benefiting Greenawald's Service rescue dogs programs.

Head to Orleans Seafood Kitchen for Fat Tuesday specials! Sip on $2.50 domestic bottle beers or $5 signature frozen drinks while listening to a live band.


 

The Square at Memorial City

There is no better place to celebrate Fat Tuesday than The Square at Memorial City. The Rouxpour will be putting on a crawfish boil, and serving specialty cocktails, beer and wine. There will also be live music and plenty of room to dance. There will be Mardi Gras masks and beads, and face painting for the young revelers!

Over 3 million beads will be thrown at Texas’ largest Mardi Gras celebration, with the lineup of festivities including elaborate parades, headliner performances and concerts, balcony parties, masked balls, an official 5K run, family events, and plenty of feasting. Ticket prices for party passes, balcony tickets, and general admission vary.

Thursday, February 20

7-10 p.m.


Put on your fanciest masquerade mask and grab your beads for the Mixers & Elixirs Mardi Gras party at Houston Museum of Natural Science. There will be a live band, dancing, cash bars, and food trucks. Tickets are $25.


 

La Porte, TX

Saturday, February 22

4-9 p.m.


Make your way to Main Street for music, a parade and Bayou cuisine! Returning for its sixth year, Mardi Gras on Main takes over La Porte for a free, family-friendly celebration featuring live music, crawfish, food trucks, markets, beer garden revelry, and more.


Strand Street and 20th Street

Galveston, TX

Sunday, February 23

12 p.m.


This parade is a tribute to children affected by serious burns and cancer. Patients, families and friends of nonprofits are part of this parade featuring high school marching bands, clowns and mini-cars.
