America is turning 250 years! Katy families have a lot options when it comes to having fun and celebrating the holiday weekend.

Happy Birthday America

Katy and the surrounding areas have plenty to choose from when it comes to celebrating the Fourth of July. Do remember that as a tri-county area there are rules that must be followed when playing with fireworks. Make sure you know your Katy Fireworks Must Knows.

Local Events and Firework Shows

You don't have to plan a show in your street. There are plenty great Fourth of July shows happening in Katy complete with a professional firework show.

City Hall

In observation of the Fourth of July, the City of Katy offices are closed, but all this month families can enjoy a special exhibit.

Thanks to a special partnership between the Star of Destiny Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Katy Heritage Society an exhibit can be found in the lobby of City Hall. This showcases the people, places, and stories that have helped shape Katy's rich history while commemorating this historic milestone for our nation.
