Many local businesses are announcing their summer camp schedules. From virtual, to in-person camps with precautions, Katy kids can look forward to a summer of fun and growth while staying safe.

This summer four sessions are offered from June 15 - July 17.

Monday through Friday: 9 am to 3:30 pm

Ages: Children entering kindergarten through entering 8th grade. Kindergarten campers will be separated from first to eighth grade campers.

Early drop-off and late stay coverage provided for $35 each week or $65 for both weeks.

Camp West facilities include a great sports complex with a double gymnasium, a rock wall, two ball fields, sand volleyball courts and swimming lakes.

MUSIC AND THEATRE

Voted “Best in Katy” for six consecutive years, the Conservatory of Music at Cinco Ranch is offering online lessons in 10 areas including piano, woodwind instruments, drums, guitar, voice and more.

When they are able, they will return to in-person lessons and a recital schedule.

School of Rock Katy offers workshops that cover topics for musicians of any skill level who want to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals.

FITNESS AND SPORTS

Bobby Sanders Summer Basketball Camps are for boys and girls who love basketball and really want to improve their skills!

Ages: First through Eighth grades

Sessions start in June but will be moved back if they need to be.

Price: $155

Campers are welcome to sign up for both the morning and afternoon sessions. However, campers must be picked up at 11:30 am and then are allowed to return for open shooting at 12:40 pm, prior to the afternoon session.

This year Katy Youth Football has put together a comprehensive conditioning and tackle football camp to take place over two weeks, with over 16 hours of professional instruction.
