Katy ISD is making it easy for Katy families to get information on District fine art groups, concerts, events or artists. Their Fine Arts Calendar will help families plan and see all secondary performances, concerts, exhibits, and more.

The District is recognized state-wide for its excellence in fine arts,” says Katy ISD Executive Director of Fine Arts Damon Archer. “This calendar gives us the opportunity to give the entire community a hub to find performances and ways to support our students, from junior high events and concerts all the way to high school productions and performances. There is something for everyone to enjoy.”

The calendar is the official listing for fine arts events and displays performances through June 2026 from each high school and junior high school. Site visitors can filter the calendar based on event types, including art, band, choir, dance/cheer/guard, orchestra, theater and district-wide events.

“Katy residents don’t need to go downtown for a great show,” says Dawn Champagne, Katy ISD Board of Trustee. “Our high school and junior high productions are just as good and a fraction of the cost. I promise you will not be disappointed.”

How to Get Tickets

Some Katy ISD performances have tickets on sale through the District website, while others are on their production company’s website (click high school name above to go to those websites.) If you aren’t able to find the link for tickets, call the school.

Katy residents 65 or older and retired 65 and older Katy ISD retirees (regardless of residence) are able to get a Gold Card Club card that allows them free admission to District Fine Arts and Athletic events. You can get your card by contact this the KISD Administration building (6301 South Stadium Lane) 281-396-6000.

However, this is not valid for all shows if shows are selling tickets for fundraising. Always check with your school and show on what they are doing.

As the year progresses, new events will be added to the calendar, serving as a one-stop shop for dates, times and locations of fine arts events.
