Katy ISD Seeks to Fill Hundreds of Operations Positions at Upcoming Job Fair

Katy ISD seeks skilled and committed professionals to join its Operations team that support students and staff in a multitude of serving roles. They will host a job fair later this month.

On Saturday July 19, 2025, Katy ISD will host an Operations Job Fair where they seek to add to their Operations team. The Operations team consists of positions that support students and staff such as bus drivers, nutrition and food service, custodial, security and more.
“We’re continually working to strengthen our team so we can support the success of our students, staff, and schools,” says Katy ISD’s Chief Operations Officer Ted Vierling. “With a district of this size, overseeing so many essential functions is a significant responsibility.”
The Job Fair will be at Morton Ranch High School from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
The District is looking to fill roles in the following areas:
Bus drivers
Grounds crew
General maintenance staff
Electricians
General maintenance
Environmental technician
Senior mechanic
HVAC technician
Nutrition and food service staff
Custodial guards
Plumbers
Roofers
Irrigation assistant
Building automation system specialist
