Katy Christian Ministries, a Katy area non-profit is again running their A Turkey for Every Table campaign to help Katy families get a traditional Thanksgiving meal. As the need for local families continues to rise, the charity is seeking a higher goal of turkeys and hams this season.

Each Thanksgiving season, Katy Christian Ministries runs a campaign to help Katy families in need to experience a traditional Thanksgiving meal and feel the community’s love. A Turkey for Every Table offers Katy families to help those in need by donating a turkey or making a donation.
Last year Katy Christian Ministries served local veterans and families with 1,200 donated turkeys along with other festive fixings. This year they seek to double that amount with a goal of 3,000.
“Our mission is to ensure that families and veterans struggling to make ends meet can still experience the joy of a holiday meal,” says Debbie Palomo, Food Pantry Director at KCM. “The holidays can be especially difficult for those already facing hardship. A shared meal can bring a sense of dignity, comfort, and hope.”
On average, KM serves approximately 7,500 households per year.
Donations are accepted now through December 18, 2025, and can be made online through monetary means and then the organization will purchase the turkeys.
How You Can Help:
Donate a turkey or non-perishable sides
Sponsor a holiday meal
Volunteer your time at the KCM Food Pantry
According to the website, each turkey is $20 and the donation options are set for one through ten turkeys or those contributing can select their own custom amount.
