A special call for sons, grandsons, great grandsons, or stepsons of Veterans who served during wartime

Katy is forming a Squadron of Sons of the American Legion. Membership is open to any son, grandson, great-grandson or stepson of a veteran who served during wartime.

Whether carrying the flag in a parade, visiting the VA hospital, or mowing the yard for a sick veteran, S.A.L. is a great opportunity to support the legacy of your ancestor with the most important thing you can give; your time.

Becoming a member

Membership involves as much or as little commitment as you like. Dues are only $20/year and Squadrons typically have one meeting a month. Beyond that, S.A.L. members can participate in local festivals and parades, interact with local schools, sponsor students to Boys State and Girls State, provide personal support to veterans in need and join in many of the activities conducted by the local American Legion post.

For membership information, please email Doug Baker at ViceCommander@LegionPost164KatyTx.org
