Katy Residents Head to Polls for Election Day

Katy residents can cast their ballots today, May 2, 2026 for Katy ISD’s General Election (and Katy City Council if you reside in Katy proper.) This election will decide three positions on the District’s School Board.
This election has three positions for the Katy ISD Board of Trustees . City of Katy residents will be voting for three new City Council members as the previous office holders have met their term limits. This marks an election that will see much change to both the Katy ISD Board of Trustees and the City of Katy City Council.
No incumbents are running for reelection for the Board of Trustees.
Residents are required to vote at their designated polling location based on their precinct on Election Day. Below is a list of the locations. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.
