ACADEMIC/STEAM

Science, Engineering, Robotics and Creative Arts Camps

Ages: 5 - 12

Camps begin May 27 and run through August 5

Morning Session: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Afternoon Session: 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm.

Choose from 10 awesome camps held in furnished and equipped labs designed to inspire kids.

Challenge Island themed summer camps are based on popular kids themes like Island Tube Camp, STEAM-warts camp of wizards, spells and potions and many more.

Full day camps begin June 3 and run through August 5.

 

ACTING/THEATER

Off to Neverland camp

Ages: 4 - 13 (campers will be divided by age groups)

Camp runs June 17 - 21

Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

$175 early bird tuition ends May 1. Tuition prices will then increase to $200.

Camp days are filled with Broadway-themed musical theater workshops focusing on voice, dance, drama, and behind the scenes skills. The program also includes worship, scripture memorization challenges, team-building time, wacky themed days and high-energy competitive games.

 

ART

Katy Art School will have three class offerings each week during the summer.

June 3 - August 1

Classes will run Monday - Thursday

Prices vary by class. Early bird specials are currently available until April 1.

Classes are offered for various age groups, and have been designed for the difficulty and time frame for the age group indicated. All supplies are provided by Katy Art School and included in the price of the class.

Carson's Art School features 5-day-a-week summer art camps.

Half day: $180 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Full day: $350 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Many students return to these art camps to enrich their artwork and make new friends.

 

BASKETBALL

Camps are held at Tompkins High School

Bobby Sanders Summer Basketball Camps are for boys and girls who love basketball and really want to improve their skills!

Ages: First through Eighth grades

Three available sessions run July 3 through July 18.

Price: $155

Campers are welcome to sign up for both the morning and afternoon sessions. However, campers must be picked up at 11:30 am and then are allowed to return for open shooting at 12:40 pm, prior to the afternoon session.

 

COOKING

Cooking camps offer a high-quality enrichment program, where kids stay engaged with interactive cooking. They peel, chop, whisk, mix and have fun using the children-safe cooking equipment, but most importantly, they learn while having fun! Students cook something different every day and enjoy their creations at the end of class.

Camps are offered every week in the summer June 3 through August 16

Morning sessions: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Afternoon sessions: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Ages: Toddlers 3 - 5, kids 6 - 11 and teens 12 - 18

Cook n Grow offers flexible options with full day or half day, early drop-off, late pick-up, specific days and no registration fee. Kids registered for both sessions get to stay for lunch break from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at no extra charge.

FIELD TRIPS/DAY CAMPS


Primrose Schools Multiple Locations in Katy The Summer Adventure Club at Primrose are fun-filled, age-appropriate themed camps for ages two through 12 include new adventurers with fun experiences and exciting activities like building robots, creating digital art, taking on engineering challenges and playing sports. Dates are ongoing all summer long and can accommodate working parents' schedules.

Campers enjoy a wide variety of outings and hands-on activities where learning and fun never stops at one of Katy's only NAEYC accredited preschools.

Summer programs have flexible days and hours, and run all summer long.

Multiple Locations in Katy Kids R Kids offers an 11-week Kaleidoscope 360° summer camp series, where kids explore their hidden talents, passions, and interests. Campers experience art and cooking, engineering, community service, and everything in between!

The full-day program can accommodate working parents and runs all summer long for ages five to 12.

Goddard School's summer camp curriculum incorporates STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) into exciting, one-of-a-kind and fun experiences for your child every day! They offer a broad range of programs and mini-camps to pique the interest and curiosity of every child. The founding principle of The Goddard School’s curriculum is that children experience the deepest, most genuine learning when they are having fun. Camps run all summer long.

Summer camps encourage kids to be active through various games and activities, and learn and participate in multiple fitness routines and sports. Katy Sports and Fitness aims to be role models for the campers and help each child learn new ways to enjoy being physically active and develop healthy lifestyle habits.

Week-long day camps offer five mornings of fun in an exciting camp environment! Campers learn new ninja skills, play camp games and have lots of FUN!

Weekly camps run May 20 - August 2, Monday through Friday

Ages 6 - 13

Price: $200 per week, $175 for siblings

Camps include instruction in all ninja skills and obstacles like the Warped Wall, Devil Steps, Rock Wall, Ropes, Rings, Hanging Ladder and many more. Campers will end the week by testing their skills in the Ninja Challenge Cup. Every camper will receive a special Ninja camper t-shirt.

 

FOOTBALL

Katy Youth Football 713-331-1907 This year Katy Youth Football has put together a comprehensive conditioning and tackle football camp to take place over two weeks, with over 16 hours of professional instruction.

Camps are held July 9 - 12 and July 16 - 19

Ages: First through sixth grade

$115 for both weeks if you register before July 1, 2019

 

FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Campers will develop skills that include French vocabulary and actions, map building, navigation and geography. Children will also craft explorers’ gear and bake survival goods (e.g. French baguette) to embark on their expedition. Children will work indoor and outdoor in a large private one acre property to solve puzzles and find clues to help them in their expeditions.

Camps run weekly from June 24 to August 9.

Full- day pricing ranges from $295 for non-members and $265 for members

Check their website for pricing on half day costs.

Activities will vary weekly without repeating.

School of Rock Katy offers a wide variety of music camps and workshops that cover topics for musicians of any skill level who want to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals. School of Rock offers a variety of music camps during the summer for all levels.

Multiple Locations Texas Rugby Kids offers five fun-filled days of non-contact rugby for boys and girls. Coaches instruct the "little ones" about teamwork, physical activity and coordination. For the "older ruggers," instructors help with skill development, off-season training, agility work and game play.

Club SciKidz offers outstanding week-long science and technology day camps with age-appropriate, hands-on, fun science and technology camps. Kids love their themed programs like robotics, programming and apps, video game design, culinary arts and so much more.

Price: $285 - Full Day

Pro’s Katy Indoor Soccer has great summer camp programs. Campers will learn the sport of soccer with training and scrimmages, and play a game or two of dodgeball, while staying cool in their indoor facility.
