The Andretti Indoor Karting and Gaming facility opens in Katy this March. The 88,000 square-foot family entertainment center will feature an extensive indoor kart racing track, laser tag, arcade games and much more.
The Andretti Indoor Karting and Gaming facility is set to open on March 3, 2020, adjacent to the newly-opened University of Houston Katy campus and Katy Asian Town, at the corner of Grand Parkway and Interstate 10.
The Orlando-based karting and games facility is named after the legendary Andretti racing family.
Multiple Experiences
Katy families can experience high-speed electric super karts, laser tag, mini golf, virtual reality gaming, arcade games, a ropes course, unique dining, and event space at entertainment center.
Pay As You Go
Indoor Karting and Games and doesn’t have a general admission fee. Families can "pay as you go" to enjoy the different activities.
Attractions Include:
Multi-Level Race Track
Electric go karts on a half mile of multi-level tracks with sweeping downward spirals, multiple sharp turns, and long straightaways.
Laser Tag
The two-story 2,053-square-foot black light battlefield takes guests inside the engine of a race car with the latest laser tag technology from Delta Strike, the leader in laser tag equipment industry.
Arcade Games
Play over 80 of the latest video, redemption and prize games in the state-of-the-art arcade. Guests can redeem their winnings at the Redemption Counter.
Ropes Course
An indoor high adventure ropes course can be found above the arcade with multiple challenging obstacles for all skill levels.
Hologate Virtual Reality
Hologate is a four-player virtual reality attraction that takes guests to a new dimension with advanced graphic technology and immersion. With an open-air layout, spectators can watch the players and take in the action on the monitors above the playing space.
Hologate Blitz This 4-player virtual reality experience immerses players in full sensory thrills by combining state of the art virtual reality graphics with a motion simulator that rises a full meter in height and can tilt 30 degrees in every direction. Motion sickness that some players may feel in other virtual reality attractions is not a problem here. The sensation is eliminated due to extremely low latency and the latest network and code design.
Omniverse
Experience virtual reality like never before with a 360 degree moving treadmill platform, state of the art graphics optimized for multiplayer interactive gaming and an adjustable harness that allows players to move full speed without hitting walls. Guests can play individually or competitively as teams in weekly and monthly world competitions.
Mini Golf
Lucky Putt is nine custom high-tech holes of mini golf reimagined that blends the nostalgic joy of classic mini golf with exclusive technology. The scoring system is digitized to streamline score tracking and allow players to focus on the experience. At the beginning of each hole, players select their names on a digital tablet, and sensors automatically track the movement of the ball and tally scores for each player.
Unique Dining Options Accommodate Dietary Needs
Andretti in Katy will offer several dining options including a Food Truck Plaza, sit-down dining, a dessert bar, and two bars. Award-winning Corporate Chef, Richard Pacilio, has created fresh takes on classic recipes. Food options include Asian, Italian, and American cuisine. The large menu offers gluten-free bread, pasta and pizza dough for those with special dietary restrictions.
Watch Top Sports at the Bar
The main bar area will feature the full restaurant menu including shareables, salads, Asian bowls, burgers, sandwiches, brick oven pizzas and calzones, chef-crafted entrees and desserts. Guests can also enjoy selections of craft beers and specialty drinks while watching sports games on several large HD TVs.
Ideal Event Venue
Andrettis has more than 4,600 square feet of space dedicated to private events. The facility offers in-house gourmet catering and a multitude of exciting attractions. Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is ideal for corporate events, birthday parties, and any special occasion. They offer a wide variety of birthday party packages and add-ons to customize each event.

350 New Jobs in Katy
As this new facility, Andretti Karting is hiring for approximately 350 positions, including game and attraction attendants, culinary, janitorial, mechanics and much more.
Andrettis is hosting a job fair January 15- February 21 at the Best Western Premier Energy Corridor Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
