This week over 40 Katy ISD student athletes signed letters of intent to continue their sport at the college or university of their choosing. A wide variety of sports and locations were represented.

Katy ISD student athletes representing basketball, football, soccer, golf, softball, baseball, volleyball, wrestling and cross-country, and more secured opportunities to advance their academic and athletic careers with universities and colleges across the nation.
Many of these students will join prominent NCAA programs known for competitive success and strong athletic traditions.
“This is what commitment looks like,” says Katy ISD Executive Director of Athletics Lance Carter. “These student-athletes have put in the early mornings, the extra reps and the classroom work. Signing Day is more than a ceremony — it is the reward for years of discipline and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.”
National Signing Day celebrates more than athletic performance. It honors leadership, perseverance and the ability to balance rigorous academics with high-level competition. Katy ISD continues to set the standard for excellence in athletics, preparing student-athletes to succeed well beyond high school.
