Over the weekend two Harris County deputies were arrested on DWI charges. One was stopped after driving 130 mph in uniform having left his second security job at Katy’s Mo’s Place.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has confirmed that they are investigating Mo’s Place in Katy after one of their security officers, also a Harris County Sheriff’s Office Deputy, was arrested Sunday evening on DWI charges.

Sgt. Dung Hoang was pulled over when found going 130 mph. According to witnesses he appeared unsteady when walking and communicating with officers. He allegedly admitted to having four drinks while working his second security job at Mo’s Place off of Mason Road.
During the investigation, the agency will determine if Mo’s Place violated any state laws. It is illegal to serve alcohol to a person who appeared intoxicated.

Sgt. Hoang posted bond and is due back in court tomorrow, August 29, 2025.
Also, last Sunday, Ariana Isis Martinez, another deputy with Harris County Sheriff’s Office, was arrested on DWI charges as well. She also posted out on bond.
