For parents interested in exploring private school options, Westlake Preparatory Academy will be hosting a free brunch for parents of prospective students Thursday, March 8 at 9 AM.
Parents are welcome to come visit staff and other parents and enjoy coffee and pastries. There will be a brief tour of the school and campus for those who would like to see the campus. There will be a brief presentation and a tour of the facilities in action. Some of their current parents will also be available during this time to give a "Parent's Perspective."
About Westlake Prep
Westlake Preparatory Academy is a fully accredited, Christian college preparatory school that serves over 220 students in grades PreK 3 – 8th in the Katy, Richmond, and Fort Bend areas. The school is located five minutes from Katy near in the Bella Terra area of Richmond. Westlake Academy broke ground in 2008 and held its first class in the current building in 2009. Construction on the new Middle School was completed Fall 2017 and the first classes were held in September of that year. Westlake continues to grow, adding a grade a year until it reaches 12th grade. The Westlake campus sits on over 40 usable acres of land that will soon contain 4 educational buildings, sports facilities with a football stadium, field house and track, along with a cafeteria and auditorium. Enrollment for new students is now open for grades PreK3 - 8th.
A typical day for Westlake Wildcats Students wear the required uniform and closed-toe shoes, with spirit days each week that allows jeans and a spirit shirt. School begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 3:20 p.m. for Kinder through 8th grade, 3 p.m. for Pre K 3 and Pre K 4. Athletics include Girls’ Volleyball, Co-Ed Soccer, Boys’ Basketball, Girls’ Basketball, and Co-Ed Track.
