The Katy community has and will honor local Veterans through special events and deals and discounts.
The Katy community loves its Veterans and honoring them has already begun ahead of tomorrow’s Veterans Day and there’s more to come.
Over the weekend, Katy ISD honored local heroes during their Veterans Appreciation Game at Legacy Stadium. Veterans represented every branch of the U.S. military as they were recognized at halftime during the Paetow vs. Jordan High School game.
Student JROTC members presented colors and paid tributes to those who served and made sacrifices.
“Thank you to all who protect our freedom and continue to inspire future generations,” said the District in a statement.
