Katy is bustling with entertainment and great places to enjoy for a night out with family and friends. Toddy Oaks is a Katy winery, brewery, and distillery all on the same property complete with Katy history. From their drive thru daiquiris, bar, live music, and private venue; they are about serving Katy.
Katy Family-Owned
Toddy Oaks in Katy is a family-owned business that offers live entertainment, drinks, and a beautiful venue available for private events. They are home to the Grand Oak Bar and a Daiquiri Drive Thru complete with jello shots. All of this is under the gorgeous grand oak tree that inspired their name.
“Toddy is our business name which refers to our Winery, brewery and distillery business,” says owners Pamela and Channing Wood. “We designed our facility by combining the elegance of Limestone from the Texas Hill Country with rustic romance in our Taproom/Sunset Bar, named for the great view of our Sunsets from that room looking west towards our gorgeous old Oak Tree.”
Pamela is an artist and former event coordinator and Channing has been an owner and manager of his own clubs and restaurants.

The Toddy Oaks property at 20120 Franz Road has Katy history to it. The original owners were the Fry family, as in Fry Road.
“We have the front stoop with their initials and dates on it from their original home on our outdoor deck and the well on our property used to feed all the rice and cotton produced in this area back in the day,” says Pamela.
The Woods love to give back to the community. They’ve held fundraisers for charities such as Laurel’s House, Pughearts Pug Rescue of Houston and Special Pals plus and offer discounts to all first responders, military and teachers when they book events.
Helping Couples Save Their Wedding
During the COVID lockdown, many couples lost their wedding deposits or had wedding venues close down.
“We were able to offer our venue to couples who lost their wedding venues due to the lockdown since we would work with them when they needed to plan a smaller wedding if other venues shut down or their destination weddings were cancelled,” says Pamela.
They can do this because their primary business is bottling of their winery, brewery and distillery, Toddy Blends.”
A Love Built with Music
The Woods love live music and hold many events where Katyites can enjoy their drinks along with a show.
“My husband and I are kids from the 70s and like all types of music. My husband and I met as teenagers and loved listening to live music with all our friends, so we try to recreate the ambiance we love and offer a little bit of every genre in a neighborly setting,” says Pamela.
Toddy Oaks is both pet and child friendly, however children are allowed up until 6pm.
Upcoming Live Music events include:
October 8- The Ramones Tribute Band
October 23- Foreigner Tribute Band
December 3- Beatle’s Tribute Band, The Fab 5
December 4- Rod Stewart Tribute Band
Every second Thursday of each month they host Toddy Oaks Market Festival with artistic venders.
