Toys R Us Liquidation Starts Tomorrow, March 22nd

Toys R Us just released their liquidation schedule. The sale begins on Thursday, March 22nd.

LOCAL STORES

Katy Magazine contacted both the local Katy stores, including Babies R Us on I-10 and Toys R Us at the Katy Mills Mall. Both of these locations WILL start liquidation Thursday, however not all stores nationally will begin liquidation tomorrow. If shopping at store outside Katy, please call ahead.

WHAT SALES TO EXPECT

Percentages off will start low. Usually in liquidations sales, the consumer should expect to see 10%-30% in the beginning and they will increase over time. However, if you are searching for a specific, HOT item, don't wait too long because these are the first to go (American Girl Dolls, electronic items)

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards will be honored until April 15th. After that time, they are invalid.

BABIES R US GIFT REGISTRIES

At Babies R Us, all gift registries will stay open and available until stores close in June. As to be expected with a liquidation, items will go quickly so all items on the registry might not be available.
