Volunteers Needed to Fill Roles Within the Community

Many local organizations, including Katy ISD, depend on the support of volunteers for their missions to succeed. Although the pandemic has altered the way many organizations operate, they still need donations and can benefit from community volunteers.

KATY ISD

Katy ISD is currently seeking parent volunteers to review and select instructional materials for several new secondary courses. The courses include:

  • African American Studies (January 21, 2021 @ 2:45 p.m. and February 4, 2021 @ 2:45 p.m.)

  • Mexican American Studies (January 20, 2021 @ 2:45 p.m. and February 3, 2021 @ 2:45 p.m.)

  • Automotive Basics (Early February – date and time to be determined)

Due to COVID-19, the review process will be conducted virtually. Interested volunteers should apply by Monday, January 18. Click here for the form to apply.
