West Houston Shooting Suspect At Large; Authorities Seek Public Help

A shooting at a West Houston apartment complex has left a victim in a serious condition and the suspect is on the run. While this is not Katy, it is close enough in the West Oaks area and authorities seek the public’s help.
Authorities seek public help as the suspect in a shooting is on the run. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in a dark colored sedan.
The shooting took place late Monday afternoon and involved an assault rifle at an apartment complex at 15250 Gray Ridge in the West Oaks area. Authorities say that it is unclear what led to the incident.
The victim was transported via Lifeflight to a local hospital and is said to be in serious condition.
Harris County Sherrif’s Office is searching for the suspect and handling the investigation. Anyone with information should contact them at 713-221-6000.
