Where to Vote: Katy Residents Enter Final Days of Early Voting

Early voting ends this week. Katy residents have many location options to cast their vote ahead of the Midterm Election Day.


Harris County Public Library- Maude Marks is one of 4 Katy-area Harris County voting locations.


The last day for Katy residents to cast their vote during early voting is this Friday. Early voting has been going at multiple local polling locations since October 24.



Katy, Texas has three counties so sometimes knowing where to vote isn’t always easy. You have voting options whether you reside in Harris, Fort Bend, or Waller Counties. The following are the locations in the Katy-area.


Where and When to Vote in Fort Bend County:

Big Local Races to Watch

Everyone knows about the Governor race, but the Katy area has many races closer to home that residents need to watch.


Big local elections include the race for Harris County Judge. Republican Alexandra del Moral Mealer is running to unseat Democratic incumbent Lina Hidalgo.


Fort Bend County Judge KP George is being challenged by Trevor Nehls.


While not an election race, but still a major issue for Katy, is Katy ISD’s TRE that if passed would give District teachers a 4% pay raise and allow the hiring of additional police officers. Learn more about TRE here.
