Woman Robbed Katy Gas Station, Authorities Seek Public’s Help to Identify Her

Local authorities seek the public’s help identifying a woman who robbed a gas station in Katy near Bridgewater Village off Clay Road. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward.


Katy Gas Station Robbed

On Saturday, September 5, deputies responded to a robbery at the Checkout Gas Mart at 21823 Clay Road in Katy.



Woman Robbery Suspect

According to the clerk, at 10:25 p.m. a green Jeep Cherokee parked in the parking lot and a woman entered the store to prepay for gas. She then exited and was assumed to get gas before she came back in with her hand concealed under her shirt and demanded money.

The employee gave her the money in the register.

She is described as a black female, 40-50 years of age and 160-170 pounds. She was wearing a light blue shirt and denim shorts. She also had a tattoo on the top of her left hand.

The Checkout Gas Station, located near Highway 99, allowed the suspect to get away quickly, evading police.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to identifying, charging, and/or arrest of the suspect.
