Find Flavorful Food and Family Fun in the 2019 Fall Festivals Guide

It's fall y'all, which means tailgates, pumpkin carving and festivals! We've compiled a list of fun festivals in and around the Katy area.

October 5 - December 1 (weekends and Thanksgiving Friday)

The Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation’s largest and most acclaimed Renaissance-themed event. Established in 1974, the event attracts more than half a million visitors each year to its 55-acre recreation of a 16th century European village. This immersive experience features world-renowned live entertainment, works by master artists and craftspeople, award-winning food and drink, hand-powered rides and games, and over 100 interactive characters during its nine themed weekends.

Admission free for kids under four (kids ages 12 and under on Sundays).


 

September 28 - November 10 (weekends)

Saturdays 10:00 am - 6:00 pm | Sundays 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

FM 362 & Morrison Road

Bring the family to enjoy the 18th year of Texas-sized fun at Dewberry Farm! Dewberry Farm has over 50 attractions including a slide mountain, barnyard, pumpkin patch, train rides and more. Their giant corn maze was recently named one of the best in the country. The popular Fall Festival at Dewberry Farm also features live entertainment, food, wagon rides, pig races, rubber ducky races, pony rides, apple and candy cannons and so much more!

 

September 21 - November 9 (weekends)

10:00 am - 5:00 pm

510 Chisolm Trail

Enjoy the pumpkin patch and so much more at Blessington Farms. Stroll through their Rope Maze, slide down the Giant Slides or run the "Rat Race." Guest can challenge each other on the Pony Hops, Steer Roping or race on the Pedal Cars. Climb aboard for a leisurely hay ride or a little more boisterous Barrel Train ride?

 

October 1 - November 1 (closed October 19)

Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 2:30 pm| Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Sunday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Hitch a hay ride and see over 85 scarecrows, and thousands of pumpkins at the Oil Ranch Pumpkin Patch and Scarecrow Festival. Barbecue sandwiches are available for purchase, or attendees can bring their own food and have a picnic.

Admission is $15.95 per person, but groups of 20 or more receive a group rate. Every child with paid admission gets a free pumpkin.

 

Saturday, October 26

10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Bridgeland | Oak Meadow Park

House and Hahl Road

Dress your pet in their spookiest costume and head out to Oak Meadow Park! Guests can choose treats from a variety of food trucks. Plus, kids can participate in activities sponsored by Primrose School of Bridgeland, and watch exciting pet performances. Two yoga sessions will be offered for visitors and their pups too! Pre-registration is required for the yoga sessions as there are a limited number of spots available.

 

Sunday, October 27

9:30 am - 2:00 pm

Crosspoint Community Church

700 Westgreen Boulevard

Wear your crazy costumes to this fun family event. The festival will host food trucks and an artisan craft market. Plus the kiddos will love the Trunk or Treat, Crazy-Fun DJ, games and inflatables.

All activities are free! Food and drink are available for purchase.
