1. Las Alamedas 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.

LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch

This well-established restaurant and cantina now offers a creative breakfast menu 7 days a week. Try the Alamedas Benedict - two cage free eggs over English muffins piled high with chorizo, mushrooms, and sauteed onions, poured over with Chipotle hollandaise, and served with ranch potatoes and toast.

2. Snappy's 5803 Highway Blvd.

If you haven't tried the biscuits and sausage gravy, massive omelettes, or breakfast tacos - you're missing out. Snappy's is a downhome, everyone-knows-your-name favorite within walking distance from the City's antique shops and City Hall.

3. Black Bear Diner 24600 Katy Fwy, Suite 900

The California-based, Black Bear Diner carefully chose Katy as their first Texas location - and aren't we lucky. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. every day. The Bear's Choice platter comes with two eggs, and your choice of pancakes, sweet cream waffle, French toast OR 2 biscuits & gravy, Harvest Cakes - You can also add: 2 slices thick-cut smoked bacon, 2 sausage links OR 1 ham slice for $1.69.

4. Snooze 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.

Open from 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. every day, Snooze does two things - breakfast and brunch. And they like to go all out. In the event you have to wait for a table, Snoozers can enjoy hot, fresh coffee at no charge. And while they offer delicious breakfast items of all kinds, from sandwiches, to egg specialities, it's the bomb.com pancakes and delightful morning coctails (21 and up) you need to try. Our faves are the Pineapple Upside Down pancakes and English Garden Mimosa: Snooze Sparkling, Fresh Lemon and House-Made Lavender & Honey Simple Syrup.

23233 Cinco Ranch Blvd.

Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. We really want to try the Tex-Mex Omelette, which comes with Three extra-large eggs, red onions, sweet bell peppers, black beans, mushrooms, corn, jalapeños, cheddar, mozzarella, pico de gallo, cilantro, sour cream, tortilla strips.
