FORT BEND COUNTY HURRICANE HARVEY WORKSHOP ON TUESDAY 3/13
The Hurricane Harvey workshop is structured around a 6-month update from the Fort Bend Office of Emergency Management (OEM) to provide the Court and the public the following information (from the official agenda): "The Office of Emergency Management will present a summary of Hurricane Harvey impacts, along with a review of actions taken and underway during the subsequent six months." Beyond the work of the county's OEM, there are additional actions underway or being considered by the county officials. Large-scale recovery, resiliency, and infrastructure options are already in early discussions not just internally within Fort Bend County, but with other regional leaders and decision makers. More will be shared within days, and they will be significant announcements.
