Katy Chapters of the National Charity League Honor Class of 2020

The Katy chapters of the National Charity League recently honored the members of their respective senior classes. This national nonprofit mother-daughter service organization contributes millions of volunteer hours to philanthropic organizations each year.

Katy Chapter, Oldest in Katy

The National Charity League (NCL) Katy Chapter recognized the class of 2020 for their service and contributions to the community. These ladies and their mothers have contributed almost 7K volunteer hours to local philanthropic organizations including American Cancer Society, Arc of Katy, The Ballard House, Brookwood Community, Citizens for Animal Protection, and Texas Children’s Hospital to name a few.

The chapter believes that the experience of giving back to others helps to strengthen the mother-daughter relationship and sets the stage for a successful future. The Katy Chapter of NCL is the oldest chapter in Katy, formed in 1984.

Lady Bird Chapter Nears 10K Volunteer Hours

On January 19, 2020, The National Charity League, Inc., Lady Bird Chapter recognized 25 young ladies for their accomplishments in NCL, Inc. over the past six years.


Along with their mothers, they have volunteered more than 9,941 hours of philanthropic service to their community. They have served in a variety of cultural events. Additionally, they have made lasting relationships and memories with their Katy community, organization, and mostly their mothers.

Star Chapter Helps 32 Different Organizations

On Sunday, February 16, National Charity League, Inc., Star Chapter will honor the 25 graduating seniors of the class of 2020 at the Chapter’s annual Senior Recognition Ceremony.


Over the last six years, these young ladies, alongside their mothers, have contributed over 9,255 volunteer hours at 32 local charities throughout the community. They have volunteered at the Westview School, Neighborhood Kidz Club, Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP), Interfaith Ministries (Meals on Wheels), The Ballard House, Fulshear/Simonton Library, Katy Christian Ministries, Fort Bend Women’s Center, Oakmont Nursing Home, The Krause Center, The Monty Ballard YMCA, Brookwood, and Willow River Farms, to name a few.

Azalea Chapter Gives Back to the Community

The 2020 Senior Class of Azalea Chapter of NCL volunteered over 1400 hours in the Katy community since they started their journey in the 6th grade. Throughout their years at NCL they have volunteered with philanthropic organizations such as Kidz Club, Katy Christian Ministries and Texas Children’s Hospital.
