Katy high school students can find flexibility through Katy Virtual School, the District’s program that offers virtual classes to students 9th-12th grade.
Katy ISD's course catalog includes a wide range of courses that high school students can take through Katy Virtual School (KVS.) Registration for Summer 2024, Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 open February 1.
Paid Virtual Classes Offer Flexibility
Katy ISD continues to see a high demand for this paid, supplemental virtual model of e-learning. It supports graduation plans and delivers quality instruction to Katy ISD learners outside of normal school hours.
Through these classes, students can earn credit towards graduation while expanding their learning opportunities.
Frees Up Time for Student Programing During the Day
Katy Virtual School (KVS) courses support students who need a flexible schedule to participate in programs during the school day.
Katy students can choose from many courses including Creative Writing, AP Art History, English III, World Geography, Economics, Psychology and more. There are over 45 Advanced Placement (AP), Katy Advanced Program (KAP) and academic level courses available to students and the program grows with more classes each year.
