The City of Katy has many places where local dads can hangout. Father’s Day is this weekend. Get to know some of these popular dad spots and make time for the dad in your life to visit them.

Give Dad a Break
Does the dad in your life need to get out? Is he looking for a break from work, kid noise, and the news? These popular hangouts offer a fun and brief retreat for Katy dads.
Katy has everything from brewing and distilleries to great restaurants to grab a drink and watch a sporting event to shopping that Katy dads will love.
5351 1st Street
Dads visit this well-known Katy hangout to enjoy their favorite brews (plus seasonal flavors) along with food truck cuisine and live music. No Label also has a fun playground so the venue can easily become a family event while Dads can still enjoy some down time with their brews.
Does dad want to combine his love for fitness and beer? This Saturday, June 19 at 8am is the No Label Brewing 1st Street 5K Beer Run. The event starts and ends at No Label. Learn more here.

Right next door to No Label is Katy’s only distillery. MKT Distillery is quickly becoming a local hot spot for dads and entire families. Enjoy spirits while enjoying events, music, and fun!
This Saturday, they will have a lifted truck and jeep meet and music by Braedon Barnhill. They will also have a bounce house for kids. The event runs 12pm-8pm.
World of Beer is back open in Katy’s LaCenterra. This is a must meeting spot for any local dad. From an extensive beer menu (wine and spirits too) and great food this is a spot to hang out.
They often host trivia nights, show sports and fights, and other great events that dads (and moms too) love.

Mo’s Irish Pub is a great place to eat and watch games. They have a large outdoor patio perfect for dad to hang out with a drink and watch a game. Gather the guys for a night!

From games, great food, and one of the best places for dads and golf lovers to hang out- Top Golf is where you can find many Katy dads. Technically it’s out of Katy but close enough and with popularity to serve as Katy neighborhood guy nights to a few friends meeting up for drinks.

Local dads can often be found shopping for gear or navigating up and down the aisles in stores like the Bass Pro Shop. This mecca for outdoorsmen offers ideas and gives guys the opportunity to check out the latest trends in hunting, fishing, camping, and more. Looking at their impressive boats also makes for a great time to dream up some future purchases.
