Guests, and one in particular, got a romantic surprise during a Paetow High School theatre performance. Houston, who is a waiter at TGI Fridays in Katy, proposed to his girlfriend Taylor on stage in front of the whole auditorium.
Setting the stage for true love
Paetow theatre director, Julia Becker, says that the whole thing started when a few PHS students dropped by TGI Fridays for dinner. They began chatting with their waiter, Houston, and helped him come up with a plan to propose to the love of his life.
In the video, you can hear him telling her, "You've been the love of my life for five years...and we had different plans but...." and then the clapping and whooping starts!
The rest, as they say is history. The Panther's can be proud to have pulled off one of the most adorable surprise marriage proposals ever!
