Mailbox Vehicle Crime
A Katy woman was checking her mail around 10:15 a.m. Saturday when three men approached her with a gun.
"Fortunately, they let her get her kids out of the car," says Major Chad Norvell with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office. "She then ran to a neighbor's house."
The crime occurred at the 2500 block of Golden Fork Drive deep in the Falcon Ranch subdivision. Homes on one side of Golden Fork Drive back up to a drainage ditch, with Cinco Ranch High School on the other side. Rylander Elementary is about a mile from the crime scene.

The suspects were all wearing black hoodies. One was a black male and the other two were either white or Hispanic.
Stay Calm
"If ever in a situation like this, do just as she did," says Norvell. " Stay calm and give them the car. It isn’t worth your life to fight for a car."
The victim's vehicle is a black Dodge Journey and it has yet to be recovered.
