Car Crashes into Katy Home
A driver crashed into a Katy home at Highland Knolls and Park Brush on Thursday night around 9:17 p.m. on October 4, 2022. The family was home and two children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
According to authorities, he hit two other vehicles down the street before striking a third, which then rolled him into the house. Two wrappers of Belbuca (600 mg each) were found in the driver’s vehicle.
“With houses on main roads like Westgreen or Highland Knolls vehicles do get struck, but not houses,” says Battalion Chief of Community Risk Reduction & Public Information Officer for Harris County ESD No. 48 Fire Department.
According to a relative the home is now unlivable.
Neighbors took to social media to express concerns over recent speeding in the area.
Arrest Pending Toxicology Results
The driver has not been charged yet. “We are awaiting the toxicology report,” says a representative with Harris County Precinct 5. “Blood was taken from the driver and tagged as evidence, but we cannot officially charge the driver until we get the results back.”

Toxicology results can take between 1-2 weeks to come back.
This is a developing story.
