The popular Paws Fest returns this Saturday at Katy’s LaCenterra. This event celebrating five years will feature a new Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show.

A Katy mother was mauled last week by four dogs, all of whom she knew from her Katy neighborhood. The dogs ripped her apart creating lasting damage and trauma. The community is working to support her as others strive to educate and prevent such a tragedy from repeating itself.

This morning, a baseball coach affiliated with TheRac Baseball in Katy was shot in the shoulder during a game. Authorizes state that the victim was flown to the hospital for treatment.

A Katy family was in for a surprise this week when a large alligator strolled up to their front door. Katy is home to many wildlife all fun for families to see but to be left alone.
